Sunday show and shine day and Party night!

Well hope I haven't come over a bit harsh about this meet, cus it is one fantastic Run that has loads going on loads more than any other event held in the UK that's for sure, with lots of work and very good work by all the NASC guys and gals its just the name I have a problem with not the event its one of the best... x

Cool A Roadster

Ace looking 32 roadster with gnarly tyre's and undressed flathead with real cool grill treatment!

Like the way this roadster was parked shame about the kak in the background (not meaning the mopar of course).

And on the other side of the tree was this bare bones 27T Roadster.

At the show was a bunch of Choppers and (Hot Rod Bikes) they were doing a competition for which bike we the public thought was the best one. I along with a few other voted for this one. My old mate Wally with the 36 Ford pickup also picked this one. The weird thing was this guy also had the hot's for Wally's 36 and was the guy who said he was buying it before Wally phoned up the guy selling it and said I can be there right now and buy it... er so he did. The guy with the bike and Wal seemed to be getting on fine so must of been no hard feelings... now this bike I could see myself one... "dream"

Great riding position to. So we had filled our bellies and sat and chilled out by the tents just watching the Cars drive by and supped our cans, no point going to early to the Sunday party as nobody seems to get there until later.

Neat Tot Rod caught my eye to.

We did eventually get to the entertainment shed and it was starting to fill pretty quickly. Wally's mr's got us a stack of chairs and we sat and had a bit of a crack before the much hyped Band the Bogus Brothers where due to perform. When the came on the place was rammed and we stood up to see what all the fuss was about ..........................................................................

Well I gotta be honest they did fuk all for me, and sounded just like an average party band, Ok they got people singing along and they did give it their all but they did not rock my boat and I was disappointed I had heard how great they were. I wanted them to be good. Many many people their obviously did not agree with me as they were lapping them up. But it has always been the same for me, I always hated disco music when I was younger and everyone else danced their socks off to it.... so it s only my opinion and I wouldn't stop anyone else enjoying what they enjoy ;o) x

After the party band had done their gig they started a foam party, now it has always been a dream of mine to go to Ibiza get me shirt off and do the foam party.... I could of fulfilled some of that dream. But me being a right grumpy old fart I didn't get me shirt off or jump in the foam, but again loads did.

Fit young kylie look alike from behind the bar enjoyed the Bogus Brothers and got here self a souvenir photo of them.. so I got one her her... made and old man very happy that did.

Then an even bigger treat was seeing her emerge from the foam... don't suppose her fantasy would involve a fat old bloke would it ;o)

This was the start of what became a massive foam conga.. one poor soul a mate of Bob Booth's some how ended up on the floor and the guy in the electric mobility scooter ran over him .... ;o) Great to see people enjoying themselves.

And Mick did his famous statue impression "Man asleep stood up" I have a mate who falls asleep when ever we go out so now we just leave him where ever he sleeps.. on the bus he ends up all over once in the bus depot as the guy parked the bus up for the night. Once at a strip joint (we were young) he fell asleep and I woke him just to see a bare arse of the last stripper leave the room ;o) ... even lit a fire on his head once and he never woke... Now Mick's trick is one I have never seen before I aint ever seen anyone fall asleep stood up.. but he can do it.. amazing eh!

Well the night seemed to end all of a sudden.. I guess many had parties back at their camps... we never got invited to one, so it was early to bed for us ;o(
