NASC Nat's Saturday Night!

Saturday and Sunday are what many go to the Nat's for. It's a big end of the NASC Rod Run Season Party and renown for much shenanigans, like wet tee shirt and fancy dress and some big name bands (in the past) ish ;o)

Yeah its the Nat's

Me Pudzz and his wife Sue went to the party shed early, as I said it starts early and should be a good crack. Well when we got to the shed around 7am it was pretty much dead. Everyone must of been having parties or get together's of their own back at camp and we weren't invited to any of them ;o) So I consoled myself with some Thai Green Curry and yummy it was to. Then me and Pudzz got the taste for some Cider, whooo Haven't done a session on cider since I was a young pup.. and I couldn't remember why? Later that night I was to remember why I stopped drinking cider ;o) Ya see lager gets ya body and head drunk so you know when to stop... Cider really does send you to planet Strongbow ya head goes proper weird, while ya body still works OK, so you keep going, then ya body goes and it's way to late to stop or get back to any normality until it wears off many hours or days later ;o).. Well that was where me and Pudzz where heading and get there we sure did...

Wild Chevy Truck cruised by early Sat evening to break the quiet start to the evening.

Mind you on the way there we had a whole heap of pork crackling from the hog roast guy who for some reason throw the cracking away?? It's the best part and we had heaps of it, oh boy was I mixing up a great dollop of trouble in my belly or what... felt ok at the time though.

Things didn't start livening up until way past 9pm when a few very strange people came out. Sat night is fancy dress night and a few made the effort. I hate fancy dress been traumatized by it in the past. I think it was Indiana Jones & Laura Croft theme as there was a fair few about some with very nice fitting shorts (women that is ;o) ) that kept an old man entertained for a good while.

Things seemed to liven up very quickly once people started to flow into the entertainment shed. So much so when we did venture in to hear and see the Saturday Band the Cadillac Kings I was amazed how packed it was, as only minutes before it was empty.

The Cadillac Kings were Awesome and I mean truly Awesome, performing some fantastic tunes with their own inimitable style. The Piano player was mind blowing (oh and the harmonica player to eh Pottsy) I can honestly say I enjoyed every second they were on. There were a few people rocking around while they were on that's for sure.. Ace!

Then things moved to the other stage where the fancy dress was to be judged and the wet tee shirt (read tit show) was to end the nights entertainment.

Is that really Indiana Jones with another Indiana Jones, lost a bit of weight since I last saw him??

There were a few for the fancy dress, a whole heap of Thunderbird's and a few Indies' and Laura's as I can remember I think ?

Things did get a bit Nude after this but all photos came out blurred not sure why ;o)

To be honest a few more songs from the Cadillac Kings would of suited me better but some would not agree I guess. A Rock Band would of ended the night perfectly for me also... but hey ho such is the nat's.

I am not sure if I have missed anything out that happened Saturday night, as I was on planet Strongbow and it all went a bit wobbly.

I remember I had a restless night with little kip with all that mixture gurgling around in my fat gullet ... but I guess it has to be done eh ;o) Got bad cramp to which was great in a tent you cant stand up in and it was pissing down outside and ya have nothing on but ya boxer's....

Not looking forward to getting up early to polish the Truck, before I put it on the show field tomorrow that's for sure...." Hic" "fart" "belch" urghhhhhh "gurgle"... "snore" !!! " Hic" "fart" "belch" urghhhhhh "gurgle". "Puke"..... "Gurgle" "Snore"... "Nurse"
