 This was the 2nd Bardsea Rod Run in 1977? I
think I helped organise it along with the rainy city cruisers (Holmsey) Dave was
there along with many Northern people into the scene as it was then. Here is a Trick
Painted Zephyr Zodiac... Great location by Morecambe Bay and the Lake District
to the North.... Pete Whiteside, Smax, Odgie Dexy & Steve Cheatham Pete
Gethings to name but a few all came to this Run.
Lance Greenhalgh's Free Wheeling Muzzy at the same Run... We had
a Marque and a local band came and offered their services for free which was
ace.... Local objection by one old fart councilor made sure we never had any
more fun after this Run..... :>(
