 In this extreme course Fraser and Vandemon will teach you how to combine masking techniques, freehand mural work, brush-work and striping to create one-of-a-kind kustom kreations that will blow  your mind.

Day 1:  21/07/09 Kustom Graphix, and FX
* Introduction to basic techniques in masking and composition.
* Brief exercise in dagger strokes and airbrushing
techniques.
* Introduction exercise in Pinstriping techniques using a sword
striper.
* Initial layout of Kustom Tiki project.
* Design layout and Transfer techniques.
* Wood Grain techniques.
* Airbrush shading and rendering of details.
* Incorporation of graphics, pinstriping and outlines.
* Class conclusion and critiques.

Day 2: 22/07/09 Kustom Mural Techniques.
* Introduction to freehand airbrush and composition
* Brief exercise in dagger stroke and other freehand tricks.
* Stencil exercise combining freehand airbrush
* Initial layout of Steampunk mechanical piece using new
stencils.
* Sequential masking and other strategic tricks to mural
work.
* Freehand detailing, shading and shadowing
* Aging and texturing a surface.
* Final details, highlights and knowing when you are
finished.
* Class conclusion and critiques

Day 3: 23/07/09 Kustom Graphix, and FX II
* Introduction to basic techniques in masking, and
composition.
* Brief exercise in Dagger strokes and airbrushing
techniques.
* Introduction exercise in Pinstriping techniques using a Sword
striper.
* Initial layout of Von Dutch "Flying Eyeball" project.
* Design layout and Transfer techniques.
* Old School hot rod art rendering.
* Airbrush shading and rendering of details.
* Incorporation of graphics, pinstriping and outlines.
* Class conclusion and critiques.

Day 4: 24/07/09 Kustom Mural Techniques II.
* Introduction to freehand airbrush and composition
* Brief exercise in dagger strokes and other freehand tricks.
* Soft shield airbrushing and mural masking techniques.
* Initial layout of Monochromatic Kustom Kulture mural.
(Freehand project featuring motor-head hot rod skull)
* Sequential masking and other strategic tricks to mural
work.
* Freehand detailing, shading and shadowing
* Working in a monochromatic format.
* Final details, highlights and knowing when you are
finished.
* Class conclusion and critiques


 Steve Vandemon has been a professional custom painter for the last 14 years. He has graced the cover of over 40 different magazine publications and has been featured in well over 100 more across the U.S. Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. He has appeared on Pimp-My-Ride, Monster Garage, Rides, Chop-Cut-Rebuild, Roll-with-IT 
and various other Television shows as a guest artist.

Steve's work has also been on exhibit at the prestigious Laguna Art Museum as well as many other art galleries across the U.S. Some of his clients include: Black Sabbath, Tommy Lee, Pamela Anderson, M-TV, West Coast Choppers, Kustom- City, The Craftsmen Truck series, Jack Rudy, Master Image Customs, Toyota and many more.

 Craig Fraser, author of the hugely popular book, Automotive Cheap Tricks and Special F/X and numerous instructional videos, has been airbrushing for more than two decades. The owner of Air Syndicate Inc., Fraser is also the in-house artist and designer for Kal Koncepts.  Located in Bakersfield, California, Kal Koncepts/ Air Syndicate Inc. specialises in custom automotive graphics, airbrushing, and the fine art of the Kustom kulture. His clients include: Jesse James of West Coast Choppers, Billy Lane of Chopper’s Inc., Rikki Rockett of Poison, Fender/Jackson Guitars, Artool, Iwata-Medea, GM, Ford and Daimler/Chrysler.
