Weather was SCORCHING and there were a good few rods in attendance at the Sandford Holiday park in Wareham. Some things I hadn't personally seen before, the T bucket was awesome and sounded fantastic on the run. There was a 1979 Jago bodied '32 with mirror flake finish over black that stood out in the sun but the owner confessed that it looked like the car had "dandruff" if the weather was dull!!
Chris Wynns baby mustang looks great after the body has been tidied and his
brother Aaron has changed the old Rich Day A sedan to move the grill etc back,
making it look totally different.
Surf Coast cruisers had a good turn out with 5 pops (4 sit up and beg, one 100E), 2 PT Cruisers, a red Model A and others. Should be a good weekend there in July!
Wessex did a great job of putting clubs together where possible and the chilled
atmosphere was even better when the Barbies were lit. The site amenities also
meant there was plenty to do, for those who just wanted to laze in the sun you
could do that to.
Great time- Thanks Wessex!
See you next year with the truck H? (I hope so Holmsey)
