I have to Thank Dave Crees for these photos from the annual NSRA Swap Meet at
Arena Essex. Though I have no info on the day from what I gather it was well
attended by both traders and punters (eager Rod Builders) with a few bargains to
be had.
Not as cold as last year, and no Snow thank goodness. so it was a much more enjoyable day, you could take your time nosing round to find that all important and needed part to make your Rod or Kustom just look right. Our wonderful Hobby/Scene is growing so well now that we don't have to make do anymore, which lays testimony in the amount of class Cars that are about now.
Well what did you buy? Some nicely made fenders here in steel look
well.
Did this A body find a home looks peach to me *hum?* Now then..... a
spaceframe chassis, polished cantilever suspension, 24Valve Cadillac Northstar
motor, 6speed manual, std roof height and the all important cartoon size
billets with 35 series Toyo's, no fenders, flush fit doors and a matt
green paint job is all it needs and should just about upset everyone Ha
Ha!!!!!!!!
Little Black Deuce looks like a major task but if it was cheap enough would
be an ok starting point! Anyone know owt about it?
If your appetite wasn't fulfilled at this meet there is another one organized
by the NASC to be held 14th April at another Banger Track strange enough but
this time at Northampton Raceway nr Billing Hey a another not quite as far south swap
meet must be nice living near all this Rodding Fun ;>( *dream*....... Seeya
Soon Holmsey.
