Steel City Run Page 2

Classic Mopar's on 5 spokes.................coooool. Forgot what the first one is but the slime green one is a Plymouth Savoy estate I think and the red one below is a 60's Chrysler.

The UKK chopped this Hudson 2 years ago at the NATS. Very nicely finished, and the original looking interior is superb.

This A/B ? has a monster. Blown 440ci Mopar with Nitrous. According to people who watched it come in he had to leave it on tickover while he was driving on grass, as the first time he touched the throttle it went sideways. Sadly it arrived on a trailer.

There were a collection of  understated looking Pops including UK-Hotrods member Lee's red one, all had very nice stances and looked cool.........

.........and then there's Mick Tebbs' mental flaked Pop. Would have been better if there was some sunshine to show the flake of LOL. That's the man himself stood behind the car.

Cool 46 Chevy pickup played havoc with the flash on the camera, Motor sounded like it needed the tappets setting *smile*

The Seward line up.

Right is UK-Hotrods e-mail group member Bill Gabb's awesome 34 which runs a blown 283ci Chevy motor. Cool 40 Ford looks like it was in the style of the early 90's with the alloy wheels. .

Super 38 Ford coupe had awesome paint

Nice flamed Model B of Louise Turners and his mate Phil Mallas's perfect Red 34 Coupe.

Steel City Cruisers rod's had a fenced off area to park in.

Brian Whitfield's cool COE Ford truck had matching moon disked trailer aswell. The wagon came with his '49 GMC pickup on the back, which is Featured in Decembers Custom Car.

Cool Oldsmobile had the kustom treatment, and red with orange flake paint. Nice nostalgia Model A pickup.

Impala convertible was cool.

Rodded Fiat Topolino runs an Alfa twin cam. Very nice stance, interior is a touch on the small side though ;-) Comedy Skoda is excellent. Remote control windscreen washers are placed around it so anybody close enough to it gets sprayed (yes me too :-).

Dave Smith's Camaro now runs big American 5 spokes.

Nice '40 Ford was featured in Custom Car before it was flamed.

Cool looking T-Bucket turned up. Finally a pic of John Kellets nostalgia roadster for everybody to drool over.

Paul Gartsides Model A delivery was featured in Novembers CC. Runs a Goodwrench 350ci Chevy motor with NOS.

Orange Mk1 Consul ran 2.9i V6. Nice and low for a change. One last pic of that '59 Merc cos it's just so cool.

All in all it was a great day, even the weather didn't spoil it too much. Cool music and decent food.

See ya
Matt (15yrs)

I would just like to thank young Matt for this write up and fantastic photos he has a good eye for the right Car and takes a good photo a budding Mike Key if there ever was one.
