I didn't make it to the infamous NASC Street Rod Nats but Thanx to Ray Newman I can share with you other less fortunate's like me, some Great Photos from this well rated event. There will be hopefully a write up and some more photos from the Uk Hot Rods roving reporter Paul Dorrington soon all being well. Both Guys are long standing uk_hotrod group members.
For now though feast your eyes on some beauties picked out and photographed for this site by Ray Sayle the owner of the Beautiful red Pop Below out on its maiden voyage Cool eh!!
Really Neat..........well lets be honest Perfect Flamed er?? 38 er? 40's Ford how the heck do I know what year Gawd I am a terrible Car spotter!. I Must learn soon eh! Oh and a 56 Chevy? very well displayed even had 50's music playing to give a bit of 50's ambiance at Billing. I must remember to get some 30's stuff for when I display mine!... only joking Honest.
Only seen this on the Nats video and once in CC it looks Ace like a Kooky Car from the 60's Really swell piece of kit Jeez I hate that clique argghhh Nice Car though. and I make no apologies for showing Gary O'Connor's Fantastic 48 Chevy Truck top ten winner at Knebworth. Blew an air bag on the way home so I heard.
Same wid these two Great creations, I make no apologies for showing them again. the Green Hi-Tec is just so Cool couldn't you just imagine washing and waxing this Perfect Green A and keeping those loverly big billets so finely polished and then cruising around town in it in the sunshine then wrapping it in cotton wool over the winter!!! Man you just would have kittens if anyone came near it wouldn't you but does this guy rope it off does he do that? Nah he uses it!!!! Which brings me to Kev (Top Man) Rooney, he has built this exquisite A Pick up. I have had a good look round this A and it is perfect and well useable just how Kev wanted it. And it looks just at home in a show line up as it does cruising the highways. Kev's A Won best debut car at Drayton Manor and he drives the Nutz off it. It has a Rover V8 and does 30 MPG now aint that a Bonus...... I could go on and on about this cool car and cool Guy but I wont embarrass him anymore. Oh except to say Kev is a uk-hotrods group members and also UK Kustoms head Guru... *Respect*
Paul (why eye man) O'Donnell's excellent Nostalgia Coupe I think???? not seen it with a Hood before so maybe it ain't. Does anyone know? .It is well nice anyway. I love the crossplie's, drop toob and no fender look. But I cant grow a quiff and I haven't any tattoos and my legs look shyte in drainpipes, so I have to stick to my Hi Tec stuff *smile* that's my excuse and I am sticking to it *Nice one*
And finally the man himself, Ray Newmans Well Nice V8 Pop. Great choice of colour and wheel combo sits great shines well and on it maiden Voyage very very Nice!! *Respect Ray*
