American Graffiti anyone! Yeah I know it aint a 55 Chevy but don't it just
look the part what year eh!!????
Couple a cool Drag Cars and Al's Gasser has just been on the scene for as
long as I can remember always a crowd pleaser and a true hero *respect Al*!!
Now enjoy the Rod Fest Plastic a plenty with a couple a Steel ones but who cares. And loads of different interpretation's of what makes a Hot/ Street Rod which is neat as there is room for us all.... Big Billets or Steels shiny paint or dull who cares as long as it is a Rod!!
These Nostalgia Rods look like they should........ holes in the Visor on the 32 sedan
just add the finishing touch eh! and the Pin striping by Weirdo Watts on the A
is just pure class. I added the Swedish? A (Center) though not true nostalgia
Rod but what is more commonly now called Newstalgia which is I guess is a shiny
nostalgia Rod? You pays ya money Both get my vote but then I just love Rods I
guess it depends on the size of your turn ups and quiff!
Green 32 sits nice eh! Taller stance flamed 32 very Graffiti I
think these guys just need to swop wheels... though not tyres!!
This 34 Coupe I recognize from last year and he is parked in exactly the same
place, still looks great. 37 Phaeton is new to me I bet it looks belting with the
top down it just looks a bit over powering up to my eye!
The Lowboys hit Town with such a low center of gravity these should
boogie round the bends and be a bucket (no pun intended) load of fun!! Bottom
one looks finished which must be rare ;>) I guess the guys cant stop driving
them long enough to add the finishing touches!! like an interior or has the rain
something to do with it?
Bold Blown and Blue Beauty!!
Two more Flaming Highboys ;>) I know one is Pike Lee other I forget just
now I will update.
Wish I had the Bottle to drive one of these like the Model T they just
shout Hot Rod. Well Street Rod then *picky* but practicality prevails living up
here in the north. It has gotta have a hood and a bonnet or is that a
bonnet and a hood or do I mean a roof and a bonnet or is that hood Ahh who
cares It rains up here that's what I mean! And fenderless well the Man wouldn't
like that... These are possibly the best two examples in the UK and I love em!
Chevy Truck looks well with flush windows and top Chop Though PINK!!!!!
Now he should get dare to be different..
Steel, Glass take your pick Pro Street or Street Rod Both would look well
cruising the Van Nuyes boulevard (or how ever ya spell it) for sure....
Two
very top class UK rods make no mistake!!
Now then chrome steels or Big Billets both have a cartoon effect that I love.
A looks particularly cartoonified and is just so so beautiful Yes please!!
So that's it thanx to Paul Vesty uk_hotrods member for these photos and I hope you have enjoyed looking at em!! The Rod Run season is over only the Northern Swop meet to look forward to but at least that means I can get some more time in the garage to get my Rod sorted for Drayton Manor 2002 Seeya There Holmsey
