Readers Rides Brit Modified's

Paul Cooper from Kings Lynn.
Is working on this Cool Wolesley 680.. he says it isnt low enough yet, should be a cool looking Brit Rod when finished to his liking.

Richard Bristows cool Moggy pick up inspired by Robin Beardmore's, who has helped with advice and ideas after Richard e-mailed him.The cab is re built using Morris Traveller roof and B pillars so as to use the longer Traveller doors to make for a bigger cab.  The roof is chopped by 1 ½” and the body is dropped by 1”.  The suspension is lowered by 1 ½”.  The roof is removable in one piece.  The pick up bed is scratch built.  A friend with a metal fabrication shop did the long folds in the sheet metal for the bed for me other wise all the work on the truck was done at home. Powered by a tuned A series.  Consequently running gear is pretty much standard save for disk brakes and an A frame on the rear axle.  In the time it’s taken to build this Richards interests have become more traditional rod orientated.  Plenty to think about for the next project then!
