Hi well life goes on and so does my Truck build, do I feel any better errr not sure?
I just know I want this Truck so much I gotta keep soldiering on as no fukker else will
build it for me and there aint no fairies at the bottom of the garden ;o)

So what have I been doing? Loads of little jobs and in between trying to work out
how to update the new web site layout!

I filled flatted and filled and flatted the bonnet till I was blue in the arse, yeah what a pain
it was I honestly never thought I would ever get if finished.

Then checking it with a number plate to see if there was any light showing and so on until
I just said fuk it thats as much as I can do. I seemed to be going round in circles.. I have
taken it to the body shop to get primed and sealed to stop it rusting. what a relief it was
to get rid of the thing it did me nut in!

Also got the hood gap pretty much bang on.

Once the bonnet was gone I started on the door gaps, which I was dreading but turned out a
fairly easy job and turned out pretty good considering it was my first go and the truck is over 50yr old.

The original gaps would of been dire I would say so making them perfect was never going to
be an option for me just near enough would do. The Top was in about 1/4 inch at first but now
pretty damn close. All I did was jam a bit of old batten in and slam the door shut until it was
the desired shape.And so on round the door with just a smidgen of grinding to one
back edge to get the gap even. Just gotta remember to fill to this shape and not panel beat
back to the old shape eh ;o)

Door and Bonnet gaps sorted I moved onto the innerwings.
